The compartments are equipped with state-of-the- art facilities which include seats which offer comfort and ease, wi-fi facility and other services, transporting you to a world filled with novel rail experience. The Expo Lanka Group is globally renowned for its diverse range of activities such as exports, imports, trading, freight forwarding & logistics, manufacturing, airline representation and operation, travel and tourism and information technology. Expo Rail has pledged to take over 10 compartments and convert them into super luxury outfits. Initially as each compartment is made ready; it will be attached to the routine trains already on schedule as an extra compartment. The 40-passenger initial compartment to Kandy and back was so successful that inquiries are flowing in, an Expo Rail official said.
