Miss Sanitoa, who weighs around 15-stone, said she was just happy to compete on a world stage, having failed to qualify for the shot put.She said: 'It's a personal best just for me to be here, we have little competitions back home but to be here among the best in the world is pretty exciting.' Miss Sanitoa lost her heat and was three seconds behind the winner. But she did manage to escape being slowest in the 100m on the day. That title went to Tioiti Katutu of Kiribati, who laboured home in 14.38 seconds.
