Message: <blockquote data-quote="ssdk" data-source="post: 20253501" data-attributes="member: 1168">well diesel engines are noisy and Linea is no exception but i have not observed the noise as an excessive. how ever interior is decently insulated so most of the noise at normal city driving conditions are not much of a issue (below 2500rpm). however if you are driving above 3000rpm it will be noticeable.also keep in mind none of the Linea's and Indian made Punto's are equipped with  large engines so performance is tricky. all the Linea's are equipped with 1.3l multi jet diesel or 1.4l fire petrol engine. so performance is sluggish but on the bright side you get 12-14 km/l in the city and 18 - 20+ km/l out of the city. i agree with gihan798114 and strength wise though Linea is Indian made it is no exception. i experienced it first hand when my friends Linea rammed in to a truck. i was a passenger and later i witnessed the dismantling of the front end of car, trust me Indians have not cut back on safety.</blockquote>
