Thank you so muchGreat work, bro.
It would be great if there were a better way to find similar movies based on their core storyline or narrative rather than just genres and taglines. For example, two movies might share a very similar plot while belonging to completely different genres.
It would also be great if we could find movies based on tropes, archetypes, themes, or core story premises much more effectively, instead of relying on user-made lists scattered across forums and websites, which is what I have to do these days.
If you could develop a system that identifies a movie's core premise and matches it with other movies that share the same underlying narrative, it would be magnificent.
For example, users could search using story premises such as:
"Two enemies are forced to cooperate to survive."
"A person relives the same day until they become a better person."
Or search by narrative concepts like:
Mind-bending identity stories
Psychological descent into madness
Fake memories
Hero becomes villain
Hidden identity
Or even search by themes instead of genres.
Instead of Horror, users could search for themes like:
Grief
Obsession
Guilt
Religious fanaticism
Isolation
Instead of Romance, users could search for:
Forbidden love
Second chances
Unrequited love
Toxic relationships
I think this would be a much more powerful and meaningful way to discover movies and TV shows that genuinely share the same underlying story, regardless of genre, setting, or marketing labels.
