I'm not a electronic guy to talk about internal components but I know most of the LCD manufactures but components from various vendors and only few vendors have 90% components build by them. (TOSHIBA used to be like that in old days when they build laptop!, that's because I work for TOSHIBA for few years.)Yeah this lack DVI port and as I said this is outdated model but my main idea is to extend my laptop display so I can do my video recordings properly and watch movies while doing some other task in the other screen.</blockquote>
