its nice to see other flight simulator fans in sri lanka!!!awesome!!!i got this idea of making proper scenery and proper airport buildings for katunayake...anyone wanna join and try do this?

also, i want to make textures and add-on aircraft with Sri Lankan airlines colours..there's a A380 with Sri Lankan colours but its quite cha...

i've also got some add-on aircraft that I downloaded from this site called flyawaysimulation.com ..you gotta pay for the membershi, but i will find a way to put the files up somewhere so that you guys can get it...

Using the above link, you can download the free/trial version.
I think this is more than enough for a beginner.
This trial version has some advantages than the original one.
The original one consists of 2 DVDs. So, you need about 10GB hard disk space.
But for trial version, only about 600MB hard disk space is needed.
To play the trial version, you need much less system resources. (less VGA)
Still, you wont see a difference in the graphics quality.

If you are satisfied with the trial version, then you can buy the original version.
The original version is cheaper than buying an operating system.
Trust me. It worths that much.

Re : joy stick.
Once a bought a joy stick from the market.
But, using the optical mouse was much better than that joystick.
Optical mouse movements were much smoother than that.
I'm looking for to buy a joy stick made by MS which is especially designed for FS.
But, hard to find.

Dear. FSX is very much better than the earlier versions.
It's worth upgrading your hardware.

(and even it's worth buying the original software)
