Message: <blockquote data-quote="lkdood" data-source="post: 12656388" data-attributes="member: 92282"><img src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/5/56/Supreme_Court_Colombo.jpg/150px-Supreme_Court_Colombo.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />The Supreme Court today gave permission for the leader of the Democratic National Alliance (DNA) Sarath Fonseka to continue receiving treatment at the Nawaloka hospital in Colombo.    The Colombo High Court on May 4 ordered the Prisons Commissioner General to move Sarath Fonseka to the National Hospital from Nawaloka hospital where he is currently receiving treatment for an illness related to his lungs.    However attorneys representing Fonseka today stated in court that such a move would be detrimental to the health and life of Fonseka as he needs to be treated by specialist Dr. Vajira Tennakoon who by diagnosed the illness.    In reply representing the Attorney General, the Government Solicitor General stated that it was difficult to provide security for the former Army Commander while he is receiving treatment at a private hospital.    Upon deliberation the three judge bench of the Supreme Court ordered to uphold the earlier order given by the Colomob High Court on April 25 allowing Fonseka to receive treatment at the Nawaloka hospital in Colombo until the recommendation of Dr. Tennakoon is presented.Adaderana</blockquote>
