Welbeck has scored a total of four Premier League goals in 2015-16 and now faces a lengthy lay-off in a significant blow to both the Gunners and the Three Lions.  Welbeck reacted to the news on Twitter, insisting that he "will be back stronger". The 25-year-old has suffered with injury problems throughout his career, and missed 12 matches in all competitions through injury last term. Arsenal face Aston Villa in the final game of their Premier League season this Sunday and still harbour hopes of finishing second, though they will need to win and hope Tottenham lose to Newcastle to record such a finish.</blockquote>
