His recovery will continue to be assessed." Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin is now set to replace Carvajal in Vicente del Bosque's squad for the tournament in France, with the Spain coach having revealed that the Gunners full-back would step in if the Madrid star failed to recover in time. He told reporters on Sunday: "It all depends on what the medical staff say about Carvajal's fitness. Bellerin will stay with the squad until we know the extent of Carvajal's injury.  "I also considered [Villarreal defender] Mario [Gaspar], but we have to remain consistent and bear in mind this training camp was in order to prepare for the Euros. That's why Bellerin will stay with the squad."</blockquote>
