Like his contemporaries, the former Ajax youth’s deal will also include a one-year option. Along with Rashford and Borthwick-Jackson, Fosu-Mensah was one of the stars to emerge from the United academy during an injury crisis which robbed Van Gaal of many of his senior players last season. And the reward for their excellent form is the prospect of continued first-team involvement under new manager Jose Mourinho.</blockquote>
