The shot-stopper was first made Spain captain in 2008 and after helping them win the World Cup two years later, he became the third skipper to ever lift football's biggest prize, the Champions League and also the European Championships alongside Franz Beckenbauer and Didier Deschamps.And on 5 September, 2015, Casillas kept a clean sheet on his 100th appearance as captain in Vicente del Bosque's side's 2-0 Euro 2016 qualifying win over Slovakia.</blockquote>
