I think he’d love to finish his career there but circumstances do change.“I’ve had that myself and we see the likes of Steven Gerrard who had to leave Liverpool, so we have to wait and see. But all he can do is keep playing.” Rooney was returned to United’s starting XI against Feyenoord, having been benched again for their first Premier League outing after the international break against Arsenal. His first-half effort against Dutch opposition was just his third goal of the season and a barren run in the Premier League stretches back to the opening day of the campaign. He will, however, be hoping for further opportunities in the coming weeks as he looks to take a second record off Charlton and etch his name into Old Trafford folklore.</blockquote>
