The Portuguese also struck 12 times in the Champions League as Real became the first club in the competition to claim back-to-back trophies. Ronaldo's happiness was not in question prior to the tax fraud accusations, with the former United winger signing a five-year extension on his Real contract in November 2016. As such, Real president Florentino Perez believes his prized asset will stay put, but concedes Ronaldo is angry with the situation he finds himself in."Cristiano has a contract with Madrid," he told esRadio on Tuesday. "What we know is that he told a colleague that he is angry and it was published in A Bola. I haven't spoken with him. "I do not give it the importance that is given [in the media].
