They are tall and agile, their skin is ice-white and their eyes are blue. They are an intelligent race, they have a language that sounds like cracking ice, they are armored with an ice shield and ice swords that can shatter metal. They come when it gets cold, or otherwise it gets cold when they come. In the TV series we find out that the Night King is their leader. 2 weapons known to kill them: Dragonglass (Obsidian), and Dragonsteel (Jon and Sam theorizes that it is non other than Valyrian Steel, and the TV show confirmed it). * Wights are people (or animals) that were risen from the dead by the White Walkers. They look like corpses (or skeletons) that had rotted, their eyes are blue, they are clumsy, their missing limbs can operate by themselves, they do not feel pain, and they can go on fighting even after "critical" injuries. Obsidian doesn't kill them. The only known way to kill them is to burn them with fire. To become a wight all you need to do is die north of the wall. </blockquote>
