The  development team has confirmed that it will be coming out this year, and  that it will feature a proper offline single-player mode. As Ghost Games claimed: “So, when release day rolls around for the next Need for  Speed, you will be able to play through a single player experience  completely offline. Before you ask, and we know you will, this does mean  you will be able to pause the game.” Customization will also play a strong role and will not go away, and the new Need for Speed game will also feature cop chases.Our guess is that EA will showcase this new Need for Speed game at this year’s E3, so stay tuned for more! </blockquote>
