Ubisoft claimed that it has signed a new deal with Epic Games, something   that could prevent the French company from releasing its title   simultaneously on both Steam and Epic’s store. We don’t know  whether this is timed-exclusive deal, similarly to what  we’ve seen with  other games lately, and whether The Division 2 will  find its way on  Steam post-launch. Chris Early, vice president of partnerships at Ubisoft, said:“We   entrust Epic to deliver a smooth journey for our fans, from   pre-ordering the game and enjoying our Beta to the launch… Epic   continues to disrupt the video game industry, and their third party   digital distribution model is the latest example, and something Ubisoft   wants to support.” </blockquote>
