Codemasters and Electronic Arts are   currently offering for free GRID 2 and The Sims 4 on Steam and Origin,   respectively. These aren’t your typical “free to play” offers, meaning   that you will keep these games yours forever once you acquire them. The Sims 4 will be available for free on Origin until May 28th.On the other hand, GRID 2 will be available for free on Steam until May 22nd. My  guess is that Codemasters is offering GRID 2 for free in order to  build  an audience for its upcoming GRID game. Earlier today,  Codemasters  announced that a new GRID game will release in September  2019. As  for EA, well this was an unexpected giveaway. The Sims 4 was  originally  released in 2014 and has a lot of DLCs. Thankfully, the game  does not  have any microtransactions so this is something that will at  least  please those that were interested in it but haven’t bought it  yet.</blockquote>
