[QUOTE="agarp, post: 5019351, member: 120637"] First of All nvidia never make VGA cards they only make GPU if you properly check the benchmarks you wont see any significant difference between the two cards. But 1gb is better than 512mb but it will only increase 2 or 3 fps which is useless. If you have really money to get a 1GB 9600GT i suggest you to get a 512mb 9800GT which will increase the fps rate. For high end cards only you need more than 512mb. Even if you have a great system going for a 1GB wont increase anythn significantly. For foxconn or any other company designing a pcb is not a rocket science because when nvidia or ati designs a gpu they provide a reference card to the manufacturers, Most of the manufactures stick to that board. their job is to put the ics and other things in the place, and the memory chip. these companies never make memory chips they rely on other companies. Some famous brands like xfx evga designs a non reference board( black edition etc) you can overclock the gpu easily with those cards. One more small advice now so many manufactures are there in the market ans some hinese manufactures like longtron also designs card, with nvidia gpu. Recently when i check the barclays site i saw one a 9600gt for 9k very cheap ahh but actually its not a 9600gt its fx9600gt So be careful about those things. Always do a research before buying a vga.
