I also understand what you're saying is also what the director said, but Naru "learns" how to use alien technology in a less than a couple of minuets, which seems silly. The whole learning angle of the movie was poorly executed, and if it was to be applied to the Predator it was also poorly executed. The Predator is injured by the wolf and nearly fatally injured by the bear giving the impression that the Predator is inexperienced. Then, he kills like 30 men with guns easily. No problem. I just didn't get a consistent feel for how I was supposed to see and understand this Predator.But hey it wasn't bad.
