And Sri Lankan community includes many races who follow many religions. The majority of sri lankans are sinhalese buddhists. And our culture is unique to us. And everyone must respect Sri Lanka as a Buddhist State and that must be unchallenged. And the majority must respect the rights of the minority. I am sad to say that every community has extremists. And i know many of our leaders did not make the rights of minorities a priority.And i ask for forgiveness from everyone our there if that attitude from our leaders have affected them negatively(1983)But times are changing. We have learned.. by we i mean all sri lankans. Let us unite and build Lanka.I said this because the start of the current conflict started with the disfiguring the face of truth and by making up a history that did not excist. Yes I am accusing Sri Jawaharlal Nehru too.
