Four years later, he was promoted to Senior Engineering Program Manager within the same department. In 2012, he was promoted again to Senior Manager for Mac/Windows Program Management. Within all of his roles at Apple, Stevenson focused a lot on cloud integrations within Mac OS.It’s possible that Stevenson is moving to Fuchsia to help lead the development when it comes to cloud services, as that will likely be a huge part of how Fuchsia works.Fuchsia OS is an upcoming operating system designed to be all-encompassing, covering mobile devices, desktops, laptops, wearables, etc. Rather than have Android for smartphones, Chrome OS for laptops, Wear OS for wearables, etc., one would run Fuchsia on everything. Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Fuchsia will also run Android apps.The ambitious project has been in development for years and is still likely years away from a public release.
