Both govt. and private universities have their own pros and cons. If I were you what I would do is I would think about what I would be in five years. Given the country's situation, I would factor in financial abilities also. Ex: Do I have a stable financial source to fund my private education? Since you mentioned time, remember life is not a time-oriented race. It's all about how you excel based on merit. From my personal experience, the divide between private (accredited) and state/govt. universities based on the quality of education is just an imagination. At the end of the day, it all depends on how you learn things by yourself, how you develop your soft skills, and how you prepare yourself for future prospects, and etc. All the best with making a decision.
