The simple reason is islam is rational, practical and suits for any ppl living any part of the world. The reason for it stand alone is, the quran is the word of god who created the men, animals and earth. he no what is good for mankind and not good for mankind. i wonder how many ppl in this thread who want to fight stop killing animals havent eat meat ? (Soya meat is the product for ppl who cant affort to pay for meat)  i saw one brother saying they hit on the head of the animal and kill them in a horror fashion. i want to tell you brother, those who kill the animal like that is your own pps and not muslims. coz you want to eat meant. but dont have a proper way to get it. thats y you kill like that.If you want to stop animal killing from sri lanka, goto yala and wasgamuwa and teach tigers how to be a vegitaring first.
