The IMF closed down its Colombo office and left Sri Lanka on January 31, 2007 saying that there was not much work for the global financial giant in this country. (SAJ)

IMF is back on SriLankan soil. Is this the same organaization chased out of SL by so called patriots? My dear friend Wimal Weerawansa should be invited as chief guest for the opening ceremony , as suggested by Peter , quite correctly.But one problem . Will Wimal remove the plug again , as he promised some time back? We still see this man talks big on political meetings and stages, but from where is he talking is our problem. Surely he cant be talking from his mouth as any sensible man cant change or eat his words as this man does. Good show Mr Weerawansa , keep going. You will end up in a very good place in future as you have been showing signs of this from the begining.
