So most of the ships are going through Singapore or Hong Kong. We should have build this Hambanthota port  not now abut at least 20-30 years ago. As you have heard Singapore became what is now 80% thanks to there excellent port !!!At least we have built this port now and from this we can start to develop our economy .There are  1000s of ships sailing just around 20km from Hambanthota in a month.!!!</blockquote>
