I'm saying this because i've been usung adsl routers for a long time and i have formated my systems many times and i didn't need to reconfigure everything.If you get ip addresses from your router then there's nothing to do. everything is working. Just check the led lights on your router once you plug the phone line. If the ADSL link bulb is on (solid) that means ADSL is established. And if the internet LED is on or blinking then that means internet is up and working. You don't have to configure anything.If you really wanna test these do it the following way:open browser, type <a href="http://192.168.1.1/" target="_blank">http://192.168.1.1/</a> -> enter uname and password (root and 12345) -> click Quick Setup and untick DSL Autoconnect -> click nextset VIP-8, VCI-35->click nextselect PPoE, from the dropdown select LLC -> nextgive the username and passwords given by slt and give a name to the connection; untick static ip; tick slect enable NAT; tick retry password ...... -> click next.click next -> click save and reboot.done.</blockquote>
