Later they offered even a degree from foreign uni after NIBM started its BSC (MIS) from UNI. At that time Informatics were granting certificates from two Polytechnics (Manchester and ??). Many in IT got the basic knowledge from IDM in early 90s and they are the most senior people in the business. At that time ICT of UOC and IT at Moratuwa just started and first baches passed out early 90s. Did IDM got bankrupt if so some other company would have taken their assets and liabilities and may be they inherited IDM student records! in order to get certification.</blockquote>
