Here is a basic guide to using ConvertXtoDVD ..
I've used many different software to do this job over the last couple of years but have found that ConvertXToDVD has not only been the best but also one of the most user friendly. It also offers many advanced customization features that are lacking in other forms of software.
First you'll need to grab yourself a copy of ConvertXToDVD from Here . Once you have it installed you should see a screen similar to this. It gets pretty self-explanatory from here on out..
Subtitle streams contained in your video file (internal subtitles), or have been found in external files are also listed here. If you have a subtitle for your video and it does not appear here, you can add it manually. If you do not have subtitles and would like to add them to your Video they can be found Here . If not there are also other sites that you can Google..
Now just hit convert and walk away. After the file has been converted, if you have selected to burn this directly to a DVD you will see a window appear giving you various DVD options. You can set the settings to over-ride the defaults here or you can leave it and the program will automatically start the burning process with the default settings.
Under settings you will find many different options to choose from. Just take your time and look through them. There are only a few that i am really concerned about.
Make sure to select the video format supported by your TV and DVD player. I also recommend keeping the TV screen setting to Automatic..
This is just a basic guide as there are so many other options.. Any other questions that you may have can be easily found on their Website or in their Manual . I really also suggest just sitting down and reading their Manual as it is full of great information that i have not touched on.. I hope that this makes it a little easier to burn that quality DVD that your looking for.. Good luck!!
