I think you should upgrade your PC! Vista never slows down. I run it without shutting down, sometimes using hibernation for several days if I don't have a good reason to reboot. For example, I won't shut down the PC till next monday morning. The only time it slows down is just after a reboot when the superfetch kicks in. Argh! Install a new OS every 6 months? <img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/P.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":P" title=":P    :P" data-shortname=":P" />It's amazing how people always forget to mention the biggest down fall of non-Windows based OSes. GAMES!!!Not to say Vista is great. It too has ugly behaviours, but much more usable than Ubuntu, and XP too (at least for me). It's not slow. It's just inconsistent at times.</blockquote>
