But in gaming, the Audigy cards are superb because of EAX4.0 or even EAX5.0 (in X-Fi) support. Also, the Audigy <strong>cards</strong> use less CPU resources than an integrated APU (integrated Audigy chips use high CPU cycles as well). Drivers and various options in drivers can affect the quality too. The default settings that comes with Audigy driver could be better for you than that ones that come with Realtek or any other integrated solution.
