They are dedicated (leased) ADSL connections. No telephone connection. They are fast. ADSL we get are not dedicated or leased. They can become slow when there are lots of traffic. Torrents are always fast.You know, I have a friend in Australia who has a 24Mbps/1 Mbps ADSL2+ connection.  His highest ever torrent downloading speed has been around 750kBps (or 6Mbps). That's only 25% of the given bandwidth.
