We see how many different scientific disciplines including Paleontology, Astronomy & Geology have found a mass of evidence for a cataclysmic extinction event about 65.5 million years ago. The Chicxulub crater, initially found by gravity readings of Oil exploration, is revealed as the probable “smoking gun” of a massive impact. (the latest scientific evidence points to a multiple impact event and even it’s possible origin the asteroid 289 Baptistina with it’s breakup causing the formation of Tycho crater on the moon as well as Chicxulub) This impactor radically altered the earths atmosphere and killed of vast amounts of marine and plant life as well as a great many of the larger life forms including the Dinosaurs.
