Messenger seems to be using more and more memory than the previous versions. Following are the tips that can be helpful in reducing RAM storage of yahoo messenger which inturn will make it faster.  Uninstall Plugins : Uninstall plugins from the plugin manager. To do so goto Actions->choose a plugin and then click the ‘My Plugins’ tab. Click stop button and then click uninstall to remove that particular plugin.  Classic Skin : Switch to classic skin of Yahoo messenger, messenger working in classic skin consumes less memory and makes it faster.
