Well then Buddhism has got it very very wrong. That isn't the cause. And the truth is subjective then. Your truth isn't my truth. Can I ask you something...why do you think that Buddhism is true? Not as philosophy but as a belief system? How do you know that doctrines samsara and karma is true? Who told you that? If (Gautama) Buddha told you that...then where did he get that from? There is a difference in being a thief and being gay. You can choose whether to steal and be a thief but you can't choose whether to be gay or not. So God doesn't "will that thieves be born". God has given us a type of free will which is somewhat independent from the will of God. So I could at most say that God makes people gay. In Islam being gay isn't a sin. It's doing gay acts such as sodomy which is a sin. So God doesn't punish people for being gay (which is not a choice) but does punish people for being thieves (they chosed it) That school exam thing..that's a weak analogy. It's impossible for all of us to be tested the same way. For example one person might choose to do evil and oppress people. So what happens to those oppressed people? Are the oppressed people to be tested in the same way as well? Then how come they are being oppressed? So you get the point...if everyone is tested in the same way then that would mean restricting choice. People won't be able to willingly inflict evil on others. It isn't. I was comparing the answers provided by other religions to that of Islam. The answer provided by Buddhism is hard to swallow. And Islam too gives us guidelines and stuff in how to live a happy life. It's just that muslims nowadays have forgotten that Islam is a religion of love and mercy.
