The doctor said the father had managed to find fuel and as the child was brought into the hospital the sugar levels in the bloodstream had further dropped to 22 mg/dl.He said the infant was gasping to breathe while being admitted to the hospital and had died at the Emergency Treatment Unit (ETU) at the Diyatalawa Hospital.
