Not only they add more features to FF, but also they can make it faster. For example, at default settings, I have found that Opera loads the pages fastest of all FF, IE and Opera. But after tweaking it with FasterFox extension, Firefox is now the fastest. Ad-block and FlashBlock are another two extensions, that boost the speed of page displaying, by not downloading unwanted stuff from webpages.AutoCopy is also a great addon where it copies everything I select. It's easier and quicker than selecting and copying the objects.</blockquote>
