I got the  5S for like $300 and I'm happy with it. I used this for communication and a little bit of entertainment only machan. Plus GPS.. So this does the works for me..I have a Lap top and a I pad so I do not want a super high performance device which I can make calls and bake cakes. what I have felt is that Apple has a better built quality than the once I used ( Samsung,HTC).This is Just what I feel and based on my personal experience !</blockquote>
