TomTom, Apple's main data set provider is not big enough to compete with Google's giant data set. Samsung didn't make a maps app themselves. It's just same Google Maps app, which iOS too has. Now, Apple do own their own mapping technology and developing it is up to you. Do you expect your new born baby to talk in just few days ?I'm not a fan boy either. I just like their UX design and I'm really happy to use it. Just throwing my 2 cents at something i really find useful. If you like Android instant, go on. It's just a preference.</blockquote>
