You can see that frequency response of N97 is better and it performs almost equal in all other tests except in IMD noise test.  In anycase, to hear a difference with these numbers you have to be an extreme audiophile using $150+ earphones;  which I’m sure many of us are not. Therefore I don’t see much of a point in buying a mediocre  smartphone like an iPhone for a negligible audio quality  difference (which many of us won’t even notice). Yes the ear piece is working fine, AFAIK that earpiece problem was fixed by Nokia for phones sold after January of this year.</blockquote>
