Notably, they determined the iPhone's trade dress (visual appearance) is protectable but only on the iPhone 3G.Ruling on Samsung's case against Apple, the jury found that Apple did not violate any of Samsung's patents and awarded Samsung $0 in damages.Apple CEO Tim Cook has addressed employees following the company's win over Samsung for patent infringement.Here's the memo sent to employees as obtained by 9to5Mac:-----Today was an important day for Apple and for innovators everywhere.Many of you have been closely following the trial against Samsung in San Jose for the past few weeks.
