Message: <blockquote data-quote="njsa" data-source="post: 9525050" data-attributes="member: 192214">in that thread i had given enough reply to show u  how its practicle.but u didnt convinced with the answer.so its was best to leave u to continue what u believe. one-day when u get a chance u will realize the reality.inshaallah!!first understand that this verse is talking about the wives who are misbehaving.so in islam if a wife disobeys and committing mistakes it affects the whole family.coz she is the main rope of a family even though the father is just the supplier.so mother/women has a very big role in a family.so for a irresponsible women first thing he should do is admonish.(අවවාද කරනවා). do u agree with this?first he shouldif she still doesn't listen or correct her mistakes second thing he should do is  refuse to share their beds.islam cant tell the women to do this to her husband becoz if a women showed this and demand bed there are more chance that he go and sleep somewhere else..so it could split the family than protect.third is beat them lightly.in this prophet has described it is from the miswaark/a small stick which they used as a brush at that age.also not allowed to hit on the face and should not have any mark on her body.so it describes how light the beating should b.also in quran It is  mentioned in Surah Baqarah, Ch.2, Verse No.187, which says, Which means… ‘Your wives are your garments, and you are their garments’.What’s the objective of garments - It is  used to conceal and to beautify.The husband and wife, should conceal each others faults, and  they should beautify each other - Its a relationship of hands and gloves.The Qur’an mentions that, ‘even if you do not like your wife, you should treat her kindly’.It is  mentioned in Surah Nisa, Ch.4, Verse No.19, that, ‘...consort with them (your wives) in kindness, for if you hate them it may happen that you hate a thing wherein God has placed much good. Even if you dislike your wife you have to treat her kindly and with equity..as per the law which created by men tells that if a women disobeys can get a divorce.very simple.thats the reason why in western countries there are many single parents.in countries like us put rules thinking that they giving equal rights to women. yet y there are problems in those families? Bukhari vol. 7 book 62: 32 the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) said,” None of you should flog your wife as he flogs a slave and then have sexual intercourse with her in the last part of the day.”</blockquote>
