Famous explainer were Abdulla Bin Abbas R.a and Ibni Mashood etc in that period ..the background and purpose of every ayaat is saved and clear in that explaination. quran is the Allah words and hadith the prophets words are their explaination.we can't understand any ayyaat correctly without seeing its background and hadith of prophets and some time another ayaat and verse explain that ayaat.one more you   say "Don't bring in other verses to negate them" this is your ignorance and mistake. either you are thinking that quranic verses or ayaat are combined like budha's and other famous peoples quote in a book and all verses are different from others...it's is your mistake brother..Quran has explain a single matter many time in quran, like you can see the story of Prophets Moses and juses come more than three time etc.Read the material posted by siraaj and then comments .....</blockquote>
