If expanded governments will be given the right to control the internet and monitor what users view. Further more they hope to bring in a payment system where websites would have to Pay governments for the viewers they get. And viewers will also have to Pay governments as well. This system will cripple the Internet as we know it.The Government of Sri Lanka is hosting the ITU meetings and its proceedings and is a active supporter of these new regulations.
