Of course it depends on the person, how the body reacts to these medications.In the West people take an effort to get suntanned, but in Asia it's the opposite. Even the FDA still carries a warning on these drugs and various other creams.Most of these work as Tyrosinase inhibitors. Tyrosinase and a couple of other associated proteins TRP-1 & 2 plays an important role in the production of melanin.The main thing to realise is that there could be a serious risk of using these whiteners.</blockquote>
