Five men including an informant is in the custody of the  CID,” police spokesman Ajith Rohana said. Last week the CID arrested the main suspect who gave the contract to an Army Captain to carry out the killing. The owner of the medical laboratory had given the contract to kill the  doctor to two other men, who were soldiers, through the Army Captain.  They were residents of Meetiyagoda and had fled the area following the  incident. The laboratory owner and the Army Captain had been close  friends for a long time. Following his arrest angry crowds set a medical laboratory and a house  in the Boraketiya area in Karandeniya.
