Peiris’s statements were both conveyed to the US State Department.</strong> <strong></strong></p><p><strong></strong></p><p><strong> Minister Rambukwella speaking to Daily Mirror online said that during the meeting he had once again conveyed Sri Lanka’s concerns over the statement and both parties had discussed the issue in length. </strong> <strong></strong></p><p><strong></strong></p><p><strong> “Issues over the statement were discussed and the US Ambassador told me that she had conveyed the statements released by me and Professor G.L. Peiris to the US State Department.
