It has a DVI-D and a D-Sub (VGA) port for connectivity. The Samsung 2233SW comes with a 22-inch panel that has a maximum resolution of 1920x1080. Yes, Full HD! It has a response time of 5 ms, contrast ratios of 1000:1 (typ) and 15000:1 (dynamic) and has a maximum brightness of 300 cd/m2. Viewing angles are 170 degree (horizontal) and 160 degree (vertical). Special features include Samsung's proprietary MagicBright, Image Size, Color Effect, MagicTune and Safe Mode (down scaling in UXGA) and DVI with HDCP. What all these technologies result into is a set of viewing presets for different scenarios like Cinema or Movie mode, Internet mode, Text mode, etc. My experience with these presets has never been a good one and I suggest not to fiddle around with these.
