So sales are limited and due to that reason artists has to keep the price tag high to get breakeven cost from less no of discs. So sales are limited and some are going for pirated stuff and some just ignore and does not buy or listen to it. when few years back while cassettes and cds both were available when a cassette was 150 rupees or so and CD was 500 rupees. So price tag was not for music itself but media most. But now media cost is very low but the price tag still is the same. may be its due to increased production costs may be not.  I think if the price of the music can be reduced more and more copies will be sold and it will get higher profits. their is small different b/w music and cars, meals and stuff.  You can copy music without spending a cent but you cannot do copy car or meals. So when setting price for those this factor also must be taken into account. So unless music comes for reasonable price copying will always happen bcoz its cheap.</blockquote>
