If they cease, let there be no hostility except to those who practice oppression" (2:190-193).according to this additional verse...the same kind of message is repeated...FIGHT in the CAUSE of God those who fight you....be it Satan putting bad ideas or other humans who WANT to fight you....like the LTTE shall we say.....Then that cause is JUST....in that case.....you can DEFEND...and FIGHT back...BUT IF THEY CEASE (STOP)...then do not pursue them....it does not say keep killing or keep fighting....it says....they fight you fight...they stop you stop....if you are asking if Islam takes the doctrine of Buddhism and asks us to not fight back no....as i keep saying Islam takes a good and the bad of this world....and keeps to realism....so it assumes there will be people who will want to fight Islam as a group...those people we can fight back...and if they or we die in the process its is ok...but if they don't fight you...you are NOT AUTHORIZED to Kill.....in either case actually....so yes....if someone fights you...and you fight back...and they die because of it....your sin of taking that SACRED life is forgiven....that is all it says.... doesn't mean you automatically should try to kill them...it actually says to avoid that if at all possible....."ALLAH DOES NOT CONDONE TRANSGRESSORS"....<img src="/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/default/dull.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":dull:" title="Dull    :dull:" data-shortname=":dull:" />i can't break it down or make it any more simple.....its just a technicality....</blockquote>
