Norway was home for the Nediyawan, who is considered as  the current military leader of the LTTE, and many other hardcore  elements of the terrorists outfit.    The LTTE elements in Norway once illegally entered in to the Sri Lankan embassy in Norway  and made damages to the property of the institution. Meanwhile, the  Norwegian government has extended its support to the investigation  conducted by the Netherlands government  against the LTTE leaders including Nediyawan.
